چکیده
Geometric algebra is a useful tool to overcome some problems in kinematics. Thus, the geometric has attracted attention of many researchers. In this paper, quaternion operators on curves and surfaces Euclidean 3-space are defined by using algebra. These generate or from points, surfaces. Using operators, we obtain motions that have orbits along generated curve surface. Also, these expressed as 1-parameter 2-parameter homothetic motions.

Using Geometric Algebra for Visualizing Integral Curves
The Differential Geometry of curves is described by means of the Frenet-Serret formulas, which cast first, second and third order derivatives into curvature and torsion. While in usual vector calculus these quantities are usually considered to be scalar values, formulating the Frenet-Serret equations in the framework of Geometric Algebra exhibits that they are best described by a bivector for t...
متن کاملGeometric Modeling of Parallel Curves on Surfaces
This paper is concerned with various aspects of the modeling of parallel curves on surfaces with special emphasis on surfaces of revolution. An algorithm for efficient tracking of the geodesics on these surfaces is presented. Existing methods for plane offset curves are adapted to generate G-spline approximations of parallel curves on arbitrary surfaces. An algorithm to determine singularities ...
متن کاملGeometric Intersection of Curves on Surfaces
In order to better understand the geometric intersection number of curves, we introduce a new tool, the smoothing lemma. This lets us write the geometric intersection number i(X, A), where X is a simple curve and A is any curve, canonically as a maximum of various i(X, A), where the A are also simple and independent of X . We use this to get a new derivation of the change of DehnThurston coordi...
متن کاملLinear Algebra in Curves and Surfaces Modeling
Geometric modeling is the branch of applied mathematics devoted to methods and algorithms for mathematical description of shapes. Two-dimensional models are of crucial interest in design, technical drawing and computer typography, while three-dimensional models are central to computer-aided-geometric-design (CAGD) and computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM), and widely used in many applied technical...
متن کاملGeometric Fitting of Parametric Curves and Surfaces
This paper deals with the geometric fitting algorithms for parametric curves and surfaces in 2-D/3-D space, which estimate the curve/surface parameters by minimizing the square sum of the shortest distances between the curve/surface and the given points. We identify three algorithmic approaches for solving the nonlinear problem of geometric fitting. As their general implementation we describe a...
